Owing to the removal of Government subsidies and trade restrictions, the prices of items available at Planetary Markets now more closely reflect Supply and Demand of those items.

These changes have been supported by the Galactic Trade Federation to encourage more trading in the outer systems, where larger profit margins are still available.

This will make heavily traded markets much more volatile, and you will have to carefully plan where to buy from and where to sell in order to make larger profit margins.
